Andrew’s career began at a young age, working with his hands at a horse barn in North Carolina. During high school, he developed a passion for lighting design through his school’s performing arts program as well as the event lighting industry. Around that time he picked up concert photography during an internship at iHeartMedia, which garnered him valuable experience with leading professionals in their field.

At 18, Andrew pursued a degree in lighting design at DePaul University, all the while working in Michelin-starred kitchens, mastering teamwork and high standards. After graduating in 2021, he played a key role in opening ESMÉ, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. After the pandemic, he moved back home to Charlotte, NC to join The Fillmore as Lighting Engineer.

In 2023, Andrew fulfilled a career goal by touring internationally as the lighting director and co-designer for the Del Water Gap international tour. These days he works full-time with MrBeast, leading camera teams on some of the biggest projects in the world, and continues to explore new opportunities across various industries.

Andrew is driven by lighting’s power to evoke emotion and is dedicated to creating innovative designs and systems that allow others to realize the full potential of their craft. He looks forward to future the opportunities that will push his skills and creativity even further.
